Privacy Policy

Introduction

WriteFlow AI is an AI writing assistant for Android. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app uses, how that information is processed, and the choices available to users.

We aim to keep this policy practical and aligned with the app's actual behavior. If the product changes, this policy should be updated to match.

Information We Collect

WriteFlow AI currently uses the following categories of information:

• Text you submit for AI processing.
• Anonymous authentication identifiers created through Firebase Authentication.
• Purchase and subscription-related status data.
• Rewarded ad interaction data.
• Local app state stored on your device.
• Basic technical and service-response data needed to operate the app.

WriteFlow AI does not currently provide social networking, public profiles, user-to-user messaging, precise GPS location collection, contact access, or photo or file library access.

AI Processing Disclosure

When you use features such as rewrite, improve, summarize, or grammar fix, the text you submit is sent to our backend through Firebase Functions and processed using Google Gemini.

You should avoid submitting highly sensitive personal, financial, medical, or confidential information unless you are comfortable sending that content for cloud-based AI processing.

Firebase Services Usage

Firebase Authentication

• The app may sign users in anonymously.
• This creates a Firebase user or session identifier so backend requests can be associated with an app user session.
• Anonymous authentication is used to support app functionality such as entitlement lookups and backend access control.

Firebase Functions

• Firebase Functions are used to process AI text requests.
• Firebase Functions are also used for subscription entitlement sync and entitlement lookup.

Firestore

• Firestore is currently used to store premium entitlement records tied to an authenticated Firebase user ID.
• Entitlement records may include subscription status, product ID, platform, source, and timestamps.
• The app does not currently store writing input in Firestore as part of its normal feature flow.

Google Play Billing Usage

Premium purchases and subscription billing are handled through Google Play Billing.

• Payment details are handled by Google Play, not directly by WriteFlow AI.
• The app receives purchase status information needed to start or restore premium access.
• Purchase verification data may be sent to our backend to sync subscription entitlement status.

WriteFlow AI does not store full payment card details.

AdMob Usage

WriteFlow AI uses AdMob rewarded ads for optional bonus usage.

• Google AdMob may collect or use device and advertising-related data under Google's own policies.
• Advertising identifiers or similar app or device-level identifiers may be used to deliver, measure, or limit ads.
• The app may record that a reward was earned so bonus usage can be granted.

Subscription Handling

• Google Play manages the transaction.
• The app receives purchase state updates.
• Purchase verification data is sent to our backend to sync entitlement status.
• The app stores local premium state on the device for app behavior and UI purposes.

Anonymous Authentication Note

WriteFlow AI may create an anonymous Firebase Authentication account automatically when needed for Android app usage.

• It is not a public profile.
• It is used internally for app functionality.
• It may be associated with backend entitlement records.
• It does not mean the app currently offers a user-facing account system.

Local Storage Usage

WriteFlow AI stores limited app state locally on the device using local preferences storage.

• Daily usage counters.
• Bonus usage counters.
• Last reset date for free usage.
• Local premium or subscription state.
• Local subscription state source.

Data Retention

We retain different categories of data for different reasons.

• Text submitted for AI processing is used to fulfill the request and operate the service flow.
• Premium entitlement records may be retained while needed for subscription management, abuse prevention, and related operational purposes.
• Local app state remains on your device until it is cleared by app data reset, uninstall, or local storage changes.

Children's Privacy

WriteFlow AI is not directed to young children. If you are under the age required in your region to consent to data processing on your own, please use the app only with appropriate parent or guardian involvement where required by law.

Because WriteFlow AI currently uses anonymous authentication and limited account features, some requests may require enough information to help identify the relevant app session or purchase context.

Policy Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy as the product evolves, including when new services, new data flows, or new account features are added. When we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this policy and publish the revised version.
